Austin ChrisTopher 

Coach Austin Christopher is the founder/head coach at The Mental Goalie. A Winthrop, Maine native, Austin played for St. Dominic Academy, before walking on to Franklin Pierce University’s NCAA Division II team. His own experiences battling self-doubt and pressure helped shape his passion for coaching the mental side of the game. Today, he works with goalies across youth, high school, junior, college and club hockey, helping athletes build confidence, discipline, resilience, and accountability both on and off the ice. In 2025, Coach Austin opened The Ice Shack, a private training facility and ice sheet in Chelsea that now serves as the home base for The Mental Goalie’s lessons and development programs.
